Reclaimed
Reclaimed is a DND 5E compatible setting that has been in development since 2021. Themes of coming to terms with ones identity, religion, death and grief, and the relationship of nature to its inhabitants are all woven into the fabric of the setting, culminating in a rich world full of interpersonal strife and political drama. 315 years have passed since the Reclamation, an apocalytpic series of natural disasters that wiped out the vast majority of humanoids in Ardea, the world Reclaimed takes place in. Now, once again Ardea is troubble. There is a mysterious, ravenous force hellbent on consuming the world, and it will use anything and anyone at its disposal to do so. The fate of the world is in the hands of its children - will adventurers raise arms against this devourer of worlds, or become its pawns?
Campaign Setting Cover
Showing off what you'll encounter in the campaign setting was crucial to me, so I wanted to include the major characters of the world, the villains being the most prominent, as well as some important environments and locations - such as the pavillion on the far left and the city below the moon. I took inspiration for the composition from existing DND modules like Waterdeep: Dragon Heist and Wild Beyond the Witchlight, especially the size hierarchy of the characters in each piece.

Interior Book Illustrations
These pieces were created simultaneously and belong within the same chapter, the full-page piece being the splash art for the entire chapter, which is about a capital city in Ardea known as Vintergron. The half-page illustration showcases two important characters, royals who reside in Vintergron in a place known as Emyrik Palace. I painted the full-page piece to showcase the environment, a snowy land of towering mountains and craggy fjords, and the interior illustration to show what the architecture on the inside of upper-class Emyk buildings look like, as well as how the royals spend their days.

Monster Designs
The monster designs and page layouts for Reclaimed were designed to visually match DND sourcebooks, specifically the 2014 Monster Manual. They were visually and mechanically designed by me. I wanted them to both visually and mechanically fit into Ardea, so coming up with some lore was a must as well - each part of the project inmformed the others. For example, the Church Crawler's centipede-like legs caused me to give it the Spider Climb ability, and the Frost Wriaths' vulnerability to fire gives it the potential for interesting interactions when coupled with it being wamrth-starved.

Illustration Process
When I was deciding on the composition for the illustrations, I wanted to make sure each illustration gave the viewer information on the monster's demeanor, the environment it lived in, and/or how it interacts with other creatures.
